Book Page Flower Tutorial!

So I've decided to show my process for making the flowers for my book page flower wreaths... Hope I can explain it and that you guys enjoy!

MATERIALS:
Book Pages
Scissors
Hot Glue

First I cut a stack of book pages into a circular shape. These are a smaller circle for my filler flowers that I put near the center and in spots the bigger ones just wont look right or fit.

Here I am starting my cut. I cut straight to the center just a little bit the start going around the diameter of the circle just enough to make the flower.

After one complete go around I cut off the edge where I went straight at the beginning so that it stays circular.

I then continue cutting around the diameter of the paper circle going in slightly as I go. Making a bulls eye shape.

After completing the cutting process you will have a stack of spiral circle book pages.

Pick up one of the pages from the center. If you try getting it from the end it will get tangle with all the others pretty much every time.

Start from the end and start making a rolling motion to the right, It will start looking like the photo below.

When you are finished you will get a paper flower that looks like this on the bottom. The center will end up being the base of the flower. I put just a dab of hot glue on what you see in the photo below.

I then place the glued end onto the base/center of the flower to secure the flower shape.

Don't worry if there are longer pieces, You can grab your trusty scissors and cut to the shape you want. Below is the finished product along with a few other finished flowers.

I hope you like, enjoy, and share this post with your friends. If it came in handy and if you would like to see other tutorials of any items in my etsy shop please comment and let me know. Thanks again for viewing!
